The Isbells are a Belgian group with singer-songwriter Gaëtan Vandewoude. If you like slightly melancholic, folky popsongs? Then you’ve come to the right place! We’ve heard that Gaëtan wrote his songs by night, and it shows. They are melancholic and intense but also very nice to listen to. Come and check it out!
Support this evening is by Renée, who also played with among others Mark Lanegan, Isobel Campbell and Don McLean. Veyr promising! Honest, genuine songs that are completed by Renée Sys’s beautiful voice. This summer, she releases her new album.
Closing the evening after The Isbells is Clean Pete with songs about the seasons, great loves and the desire for the sea, to name a few things. Intimate and small songs, but great songs. Clean Pete plays in the quarter finals of the Grote Prijs in May and released its first EP ‘Niet nu, ja ook nu, maar vooral altijd’ in March.
