Baby Galaxy are three friends from Maastricht (NL) who play wrangled and loud pop music. The band started when Nick Jongen (guitar/vocals), Robbert Verwijlen (bass) and Kees Berkers (drums) became neighbors and started jamming at their home in early 2015. A number of improvised rehearsal spaces and a musical repertoire followed shortly after. Intense drumming, bended guitars, harmonic bass and poppy vocals create an energetic, unique blend of indie rock. The nostalgic ghosts of 80’s noise rock and 90’s alternative rock can be heard shimmering through, yet Baby Galaxy succeed to create a unique, modern sound. Lyrically, the band mostly deals with personal issues in a creative and

slightly absurd way.

They share members with indie locals Sleep Kit and Bounty Island. Sleep Kit (Big Scary Monsters) tour Europe and the UK frequently and extensively. Baby Galaxy plan to hit the road as soon as their debut album “Might Night“ comes out.

“Mighty Night“ was recorded live to tape, capturing the dynamic essence of their live performance. The debut album was tracked in their hometown and mixed and mastered at the Atomic Garden in San Francisco by Jack Shirley (Jeff Rosenstock, Deafheaven, Loma Prieta). The artwork for “Might Night“ was painted by Manchester based artist Phoebe S.G. Summers.

The album is released on CD/vinyl on March 1st through Subroutine Records [SR078] and distributed by Sonic Rendezvous / State51.

You could say Slow Worries are an indierockband. The songs reflect their shared love for early 90s indie and pop, combining dreamy melodies with solid dissonance and taking cues from the likes of Helium, The Spinanes & Slant 6. Slow Worries members have cut their teeth in bands like New YX, Pony Pack, Bombay & Blue Crime.

Bawrence of Aralia are a four-piece outfit, hailing from Maastricht,  containing members of bands like Amish Winehouse and the Jens Maurits Orchestra. Their music is the result of a rehearsal spree during the summer of 2016, which led to the recording of a first album, that is supposed to see the light of day later this year.

Their guitar driven indie pop means to squeeze loads of melody, rythm and catchyness in short, compact songs. Supporting Baby Galaxy on the night of their Maastricht release of debut LP ‘’MightyNight’’, Bawrence of Aralia will make their live debut.
